Burrito Boy started as a family-owned and operated food cart in downtown Eugene in 1992. The owners named their venture after how their newborn son looked wrapped in a blanket: like a burrito. As the pioneer of street corner fresh Mex in Eugene, Burrito Boy was founded on the simple principle of offering fast, delicious food at a great price.
The first restaurant opened on River Road in 1993 and was immediately successful. Burrito Boy now has five more locations. While each of the six locations are individually owned and operated today, each restaurant serves the original family recipes made from scratch.
The Eugene-Springfield community has come to know us for our fresh, delicious food and casual atmosphere. Burrito Boy has won Eugene Weekly’s Best of Eugene awards and The Register-Guard’s Readers’ Choice Awards in various categories consecutively since 2005. Today, we continue to serve area residents and visitors from afar. We look forward to serving you!
